JDB Private Transfers With Sightseeing do not have to be booked in conjunction with a hotel booking. Most vehicles used are Mercedes E-class, V-class & 16 seat minibuses. However, JDB Ground retains the right to substitute a different vehicle type if necessary. Tour itineraries are subject to change due to site closings, inclement weather, strikes or other unforeseen circumstances. JDB Ground reserves the right to substitute a venue or site during a tour in the event the scheduled site is not available. In rare instances it may be necessary to reschedule the starting time of the transfer; in such situations, clients will be notified in advance.
Entrance fees to museums and exhibits are not included in the rate unless indicated, nor are gratuities for drivers and guides.

Rome to Florence With Sightseeing
8-9 Hours
Depart at 8:00 a.m. for a leisurely drive to Florence and take advantage of stops along the way for sightseeing, wine tastings or guided tours. Choose from three optional routings.

Option A: Chianti Countryside
Tour the quaint towns of the Chianti area for sightseeing on your own; visit a local vineyard for wine tasting; stop for lunch in a local trattoria. Lunch and wine tasting are to be paid directly. Please indicate if you would like to be free for lunch or would like us to pre-reserve a special Wine Tasting Lunch at the Antinori vineyards at a cost of € 100 per person, to be paid directly. Included are a guided tour of the cantina with the sommelier; a tasting of three of their famous wines; a tasting of Extra Virgin Olive Oil; and a gourmet lunch with wine served by Antinori's top chef.
Option B: Siena and San Gimignano
Stop in Siena, often called Tuscany's most beautiful hill town, and San Gimignano, known as the "Manhattan" of Tuscany because of its 15 medieval towers. Explore these charming towns on your own, or add a private walking tour of Siena (additional cost) with an expert guide. Lunch on your own.

Option C: Southern Tuscany
See the heart of Tuscany during stops in Montepulciano and Pienza, with time for lunch on your own. Or, add an expert guide (additional cost) for an in-depth 3 hour tour to include a visit to an olive oil mill with tasting.
