Situated on its own private island, this is another hotel with a huge "wow" factor! The corridors are wide enough for dancing! In fact, the space is so grand, the hotel never feels crowded. The sheer attention to detail in the renovation of this structure, parts of which date back to the 12th century, is impressive. Even the church has been completely restored (by local government) and can now host weddings.

Guests have so many options here with a complete new spa offering a vast array of tempting treatments, a fitness center, two tennis courts, three golf holes (for improving your really short game!), a heated swimming pool, and four different dining options.

The Venetian restaurant, Le Maschere, is truly beautiful with its theme of masks, as is the gourmet restaurant, Ca'dei Frati, offering candlelight dinners and a view of Venice from its top floor vantage point.

There is continuous private boat service back and forth between San Clemente Island where the hotel is located and St. Mark's Square (takes about 10 minutes). And what great fun to be able to go for a complimentary boat ride, especially during warm weather.

Meeting space is separate from the main hotel as is the boat dock for larger vessels so as not to disturb individual clients. There are two Residential Suites, one Presidential Suite, and three Executive Suites in addition to 89 junior suites, suites and double rooms. The spacious rooms (even the classic doubles are an ample size) are quiet, with sumptuous furnishings, large marble bathrooms and all amenities. At the end of each corridor, two rooms can be locked off for families. This is really a GRAND hotel!
